Glenda Earle

Blue Door Teacher

Glenda is an experienced special educator with over 20 years’ experience in the field. Her passion, interest and expertise was honed during study for the Masters of Special Education degree at Griffith University in Queensland. With the opportunity to work at a national level, Glenda worked on the Positive Partnerships government funded program for three years, training parents and educators throughout Australia under the Helping Students with Autism initiative. Glenda’s training and professional learning has continued within the field of Dyslexia, Dysgraphia and Dyscalculia having engaged in a number of SPELD Victoria and LDA (Learning Difficulties Australia) courses to formally develop this expertise. She continues to constantly improve her skills by working intensively on tailored programs with students from primary through to secondary years, with a firm belief that her learning is in the doing. Her ability to genuinely connect and build relationships with young people of various ages brings gratification and increased efficacy to her work. Glenda currently works in a high school in the Macedon Ranges, specialising in evolving an inclusive and effective learning environment for those with specific learning needs.
