We teach, assess and support students who are experiencing learning challenges.
We empower their parents and teachers by providing information and support.
We believe that all students, regardless of the range and severity of any cognitive, social-emotional, physical or sensory challenges, are able to experience success when they are provided with the support and adjustments they require.
A wealth of experience
Our teachers are VIT registered and most of us hold post-graduate qualifications in Special Education. All Blue Door teachers have extensive training, knowledge and experience working with children who require more intensive support in their learning.
Our centre has a particular focus on Specific Learning Disorders.
All our teachers are passionate about the work they do, and are ready to assist children to achieve their potential.
What we offer
Services for students
Early intervention and specialised teaching services for children with Specific Learning Disorders or delays in their learning.
Our teaching methods and programs benefit all students, but in particular those with Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Dysgraphia.
Services for parents
Assisting with communication between our students’ parents and their school teachers.
Advocating for our students at their schools.
Sharing information, support and resources with parents and school teachers.
Clarifying and summarising any specialist assessments and reports, such as:

Speech/language
Auditory and visual processing
Occupational therapy
